We are in Los Arcos tonight. Tomorrow in Viana. It was another day progressing on the Camino. Today reminded me of Saskatchewan with the exception that there were more hills than where I grew up. There were the John Deere tractors working the fields, hay bails and lots of summer follow. Great orchards of grapes, which we sampled, so we know the next wine crop will be a good one. As far as wine goes, we bought a bottle on our way into town. The lady tried to sell us the most expensive one but I figured we are in wine country so I bought the cheapest which was mighty fine. Also, we'd enjoyed some free wine early in the morning at a bodega where they have a wine fountain especially for passing pilgrims to toast to happiness. It was our second sunny day, but fortunately not quite as hot as yesterday.
Arrived at the pensione about 2 pm after starting at 7am. We had tapas in our room. Comfort food is great. Terri had to go and inspect the olive orchards. We walked about 21km. Terri's feet have recovered and now I have 2 blisters on my heales. This will pass. We have decided to cut tomorrow a bit shorter than the guide book.
