Maneru to Ayegui: I slept well last night, but was awakened at 5am by the early risers, most of which were curteus. One lady was awake by 5am but still hadn't left when we left around 6:45. The albergue didn't serve breakfast until 7:45, and didn't even open the front door until then, so just snuck out the back door. Although it was still pretty dark, we could soon see the lights of the next town, Ciraqui. We were looking forward to having breakfast there, but nothing was open, so we had to walk several more kilometers to the beginning of Lorka before we found a place on the outskirts. Woke up at 5am this morning with a sore throat and a bad caugh... nothing to worry about. Probably the good air and breathing while smoking.... yes yes I am still smoking, dumbass... Just caughing my lungs out when I am done walking up hill on a mountain, which is pretty much all day...Lol It was a rough day today. Pain in my leg, sore feet, overheated, .... but it s the Camino friends that keep you going. The whole way Thomas and I walked together and we kept eachother going. The people I hang out with a amazing humans. Kind, easy going and all very down to earth. It s no wonder that I enjoy hanging out with all of them every day.
