Slept in a bit later...I had a headache all night.....combination of wine beer and lack of water...

After showering we went and got some breakfast...wondered around the shops... kept getting drawn back to the square

We went to the midday church service mainly to see the Botafumeiro swing.....We saw Tony and Clare which was great....I didn't think we would see them again.....we sat together for the service then Craig from Sydney walked in.....he still had his pack on so guessing he had just made it....He came and sat for awhile then gave his seat up for a old lady....that was the last we saw of him

We sat through a hour long service in Spanish and they didn't swing the Botafumeiro......went and spent more time wondering we were a bit lost really.....Jacqui wandered back into the Cathedral at about 5.30 just to sit ...I went and checked on her just before 6 when the next service was to be held and they hadn't changed the small Botafumeiro to the large one so I went out side and left her there.....next thing got a text from Jacqui to say they were changing it over …...so for the second time today I had to listen to a Spanish service but this time I was rewarded....It is all very theatrical...the music builds the Botafumeiro is lit and the men start the swing it …..It is very impressive and well worth the extra service.

To think this all started to kill the smell of very sweaty and smelly pilgrim and now it is a crowd drawer.........made me go to two hour long church services in one day not understanding a single word that was said

When that was over we went back to the square wandered around.........met up with German Thomas and we all went and had tea...

Went to a restaurant that Thomas had been to the night before....am glad we went. We had a couple of bottles of red wine baby squid for tea and had Galicia groups entertaining us all night. There were small groups of entertainers singing their traditional songs and playing their instruments...as one group finished another replaced them......It went on till quite late at night.....All the locals we singing and dancing ….it was so good to watch the young and old all joining in....A great way to end our last night in Spain
