Red Bull
Should have watched his hips Our final leg of Summer travel saw us hit the capital of Spain for some famed culture, namely Tapas, Madridian night life, and of course a Bullfight. And with the recent strain of partying and travelling I have reverted to using dot points, or bullets for Wordian lovers, to illustrate the love that Madrid was able to provide.
1. Azz and I walked the magnificent city seeing historic fountains, statues and museums that did (but, mostly didn´t) interest me.
2. David B was sited at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, the home of Real Madrid. And in case your wondering I´m talking about David Boon, not David Beckham.
3. The language barrier was again evident when the spanish women, so often drowning in their frowns, and not speaking english, took my order of a Tuna Roll, when I in fact despise Tuna.
4. Attending an evening slaughter of 6 Bulls, as entertainment, was enough to make my mind up that Bullfighting should never be classed as a sport; simply because it is far from an even playing field. Whilst, it made fascinating viewing, I could not see how the crowd could get behind these arrogant artists. We were on
Crowd Builds
Seated in the outer the Bull, and hoped it would inflict some damage to the matador - sadly it stood little chance.
5. The Madridian Nightlife started late and finished even later.
