Last night we went to la o'vella Negra....the black sheep....we had a nice jug of sangria and beer...it's a typical Spanish bar..where the locals drink before they head out or before dinner...we then walked the streets and found a tapas bar....it was 11 at night and we were eating....the locals here go out late, clubs and restaurants don't start serving until 8 or later...there was still lots people walking around at midnight....

This morning we headed off on a tour to la familia Sagrada..but before that to have real Spanish Churros..yum...nothing like ones at home...these are soft and chocolate is yummy...

La familia Sagrada...it's an incomplete church....started by architect Antonio Gaudi..I say Incomplete ..as Gaudi before his death only completed one part of it ....it will take them 30 years to complete..one because of funding...the other is, modern architects need to translate the drawings from Gaudi as most of his drawings were burnt by the civil war......it has 18 towers and he completed one...the church is based on nature...each curve, each column represents, plants, animals, sea and of course the main reason it was built for was to represent the Nativity and to celebrate the birth of jesus and life.... .When I first came to Barcelona they mainly had the first part...now little by little they are completing it, it now has 10 towers...the cathedral is meant to be finished by 2013....Sad death by Gaudi ..he tried to avoid a tram and stepped back and got run over by the other one...he was partly deaf....no one recognised him as he dressed like a beggar so no one helped him..one cop did and sent him with to the poor people's hospital...one priest recognised him and wanted to transfer to the rich hospital, Gaudi, said No I belong here....he died 3 days later...Ok enough of history.. Enjoy the pics

Drink time now and people watching before enjoying the nightlife...what is it with carmen and Arab men...? Off we went to have dinner..,dinner consisted of a sandwich, dessert and sangria...the restaurant was Mas Q Menos ....we then went to find a Spanish club called Mojito club...it opened at 11:30 closes at 5....we were there by 12 and thought no one would turn up...by 3 it was packed...too hot..really there was a dude that wanted to keep dancing with me so I ran away....he kept saying i was a wonderful dancer, in his spanish accent...lol...out of there...it's 3:30 and I can still hear lots of people in the streets although its raining.
