Lynda & Italia in Fromista
Once again our group was travelling "light" as two were still feeling under the weather with their stomach ailment. We strongly suspect that some "bad" water was to blame as they both think they may have drank out of a "suspect" water source. For the most part, there are plenty of public fountains from which to fill your water bottles; as well as the taps in the hostels & albergues. Since a number of people in addition to our two have been sick, we are almost wondering if there is some sort of organism in some water that only affects certain people who may be more sensitive.

Had a long but fairly easy walk to Carrion de Los Condes. It is a nice town with many hostels and albergues. There happened to be a celebration of some sort here in the town tonight with very loud live music in the town plaza. It is now 2 a.m. and the party is still going (while tired pilgrims try to sleep!).

Think we are about halfway as of today - but it's hard to be exact as the books, road signs and Camino signs rarely agree with one another. Either way, we are making decent time and although we have yet to take a day "off", we have had a few lighter days. Loving it more each day!
