Handing over the apartment

We are meeting the landlord at the apartment at 9am this morning to hand back the keys.

Got up at 6am and gave the apartment a really good thorough clean and put the shelves from the fridge into the dish washer.

Landlord said he knew it would be clean so did not check up on our work.

Went to have coffee with one of our friends that live nearby and to catch up on the local gossip.

Went to the local electrical shop and ordered a dishwasher. Really pleased with ourselves that managed to organise for it to be delivered tomorrow evening.

Got to the apartment about 2pmish and set about starting to settle in.

First job was the internet and the television. Thankfully all went well, and we were up and running in no time at all to see the soaps in the evening.

Opened the oven to cook dinner tonight and were amazed by how dirty it was. We will keep cooking to a minimum until this has been cleaned or oven etc replaced.
