After three long years we have finally met up with Sharon again. The main reason for her coming home was for Gary’s wedding in Poland. Before the wedding, however, we had two weeks together. Firstly we had arranged a Bar-B-Que for all of Sharon’s friends here in England to welcome her home. It was a great occasion and lovely to see her catch up with old friends and of course, Gary. Sadly, Milena could not come due to her singing commitments. The weather did it’s usual of course and kept us wondering if the rain would stop before it was time to light the Bar-B-Que! Hi Guys! This is just a little rundown on what we did in ibiza. I've tried to keep it short and sweet cause I think the pictures sum it up pretty well! So here goes: On Friday 29th July, Myself, Emma, Alesha, Jess and Lucy headed off on our 6.55pm flight to Ibiza. On arrival (around 11pm) we grabbed some burgers whilst waiting for our key to our Apartment. When we walked in we were all ecstatic to see the size of the balcony, not to mention the location on the beach and the fact that it had two bathrooms as well! So my weeks with the deck repairman and working in the engine room are now complete! Work with the deck repairman was a pleasant change. It was nice to actually have to think about what I was doing. Work on deck was mostly monotonous, but every day was different with the repairman. We had to do metal repair on one of the aluminum gangways, completed some welding on the mooring deck, serviced some watertight doors, and did lots of other odd jobs. It was like being a handy man. My week working with the engineers was by far the most interesting week I’ve had aboard. I spent most of my time in the engine control room learning as much as I could by talking with the engineers, and by reading the ships operation manuals. I learnt ... read more

Europe is a great place to go in the fall, there are generally many events happening there and although fall for us here in Canada is cooler, there are many places in Europe that you can still go to where the weather is still very warm/hot , this fall we stopped in Ibiza on our trip, the weather was warm, the wild crazy crowd had packed up and gone home (as all the disco had closed at the end of September) the beached were fantastic!! Accomadations were great and includes breakfast and dinner plus Entertainment! Every road lead to either a beach or Ibiza. la Isle Blanca (White Island) is in the Balaric Islands of Spain and thier beaches are world famous - and is known to be a playground to the rich and famous although ... read more

Ibiza was the single craziest place I have ever been. I think it makes Vegas look tame I got to say. I got there and walked about for a few hours before Nick was to show up and saw the city of San Antonio and the beach at sunset. It was real nice expecialy the sun set. I had a few drinks waiting for Nick who wad to get in at eleven. He ended up showing up at about 1:30am I had just laid down to sleep. I had to wait for him in the hostel because we do not have cells and had nowhere else to meet. He also had the tickets to the foam party we were to go to. Thank goodness for my few days rest in Valencia because IBIZA has a life of it's own and you can not help but get caught up in the chaos and party that they deliver. I must start by letting you know about my initial pre-Ibiza plan. I was meeting Jessica, an old friend from primary school and we said we would go to 2 clubs because entry fees are 50 euros + and then spend the rest of our 9 days beaching and going to bars. We did accept the fact that we were there for the night life but I don't think anything can ever prepare you for Ibiza night life. 25.06.2009 Aeropuerto de Eivissa 650 euroa rahaa 2 kameraa 2 ipodia 2 hajuvettä nahkatakki muuta pienempää Kuulostaa pakkauslistalta kahden viikon matkalle Espanjaan, ja sitähän se olikin, kunnes maananaina Privilegen Tiesto-keikalta palatessa kello 7 aamulla löysimme hotellihuoneemme oven avonaisena. Varas oli tullut sisälle hehtaariparvekkeen (1. kerros) huonosti lukitun oven kautta. Kaikki laukut oli tietysti tongittu ja kaikki arvokkaimmat tavarat viety, yhteensä yli 2000 euron arvosta sälää. Muutoin Ibiza kyllä toimi kiitettävästi: rantoja, clubeja ja vähäpukeisia naisia riitti silmänkantamattomiin. Kävimme mm. maailman suurimmalla klubilla, Privilegessä Tieston showta kokemassa.
