Afternoon around La Alcaidesa
We arrived on Thursday afternoon and settled into our condo. The views around the area were amazing. In addition to the beautiful scenic views, there were a lot of unfinished (abandoned) buildings in the area. This area, as well as others throughout Portugal, had a building boom that apparently "went south". This left quite a number of developments that started building, but ran out of money (or skipped out with it). Here, in this area of Spain, there are several tourist "destinations" that are nothing more than shells of buildings (some with the cranes still setting on top). I only provided photos of the more pretty locations. ?
