LOL at the first line of your blog. That is a bit like my reaction when I read a book set in Ljubljana. Soon after that I was amazed to see a dirt cheap special offer train ticket advertised, to Ljubljans from Munich where I live. So, I went there. :D

travel in Slovenia
Hello, can I just ask how easy it was to travel in the country? Especially to Lake Bled and Piran? Is is expensive? I am travelling with my son in a months time, flying into Ljubljana and I don't want to do tours, I would rather travel myself. I really want to see lake Bled. Thanks!

Easy as. From Ljubljana you just hop on a bus at the main bus station (7 Euro) and two hours later you are in Bled. Very similar for Piran. No need for tours.

I went tehre two years ago and LOVED it. I hope it doesn't get too Touristy. We also checked out the Julian Alps, which were beautiful and went caving lower down south. Anyways, loved your picture from Lake Bled. Did you hike to the top and see the full view?
