Day 4 Koper Slovenia

We arrived this morning in Slovenia at 7:00 am. Our tour today is a Hop and Taste bus tour of 4 towns around the Koper area. We received coupons for various eateries at each stop, anything from gelato to sardines. We then had about 1 hour at each stop before the bus came by to pick us up……or if we wanted to extend our visit in a particular town we could wait for the next bus 1 hr. later. In a town called Izola (??) we stopped for lunch, Elke had the local fried sardines and I had cevapcici, a dish consisting of ground meat in the shape of small sausages alongside some fabulous fries, agvar, and local mustard. In Porta Rosa we got some gelato and sat under an umbrella with our feet up enjoying the beach and sea view. Still screaming hot with high humidity.

After returning to the ship we got a taxi to take us into town to get a laptop charger that actually worked. Information booth at the pier said that the Big Bang store was the place to go. Just like Best Buy.

Tomorrow it is a long day going into Florence.
