On the bus to the hotel from the airport, I witnessed a little girl send her father off through the gate to their apartment complex.

At the statue of Putin that we encountered on our walking tour, pigeons took over, clearly not realizing who they were standing on. (Or Putin just really love animals)

On the walk back to the hotel from the Winter Palace, Michelle M. Marissa, and I bumped into this real live bear. In the picture it might not seem like it's real, but it is! They fed it sugary milky substance and were charging people 200p(rubles) equivalent to $6 for pictures with the bear.

Lenta

Is a Wholesales store, or a supermart, like BJ's or Costco. It has everything and has the feel of a warehouse. Everything is super cheap compared to other stores, because that is what they're known for, their affordable and unbeatable prices. We read a case on Lenta before coming to Russia that our professor wrote with the founder of Lenta.
