St-Petersburg, Russia
Lovely day

The group met Anna, the guide and Boris the driver at 7:40 this morning. The 8 of us hopped on a purple bus (easy to find) for a tiring day of sightseeing.
Nothing is open at this early hour so we drove around getting a bus view of most sights,
Stop at St-Isaacs, for pictures of Palaces and monuments
More bus around the town and a shopping stop with tasting of cranberry liquor(maybe 2)
Walk in the fortress and the cathedral of Peter and Paul the apostles- burial place of the Tsars and their families
Bus again to canal boat tour, after an hour tour, we came out of a small palace canal at 11:59 for the 12 noon shooting of the canon close to the one signaling the revolution in 1905 or 7 or 17, there were a few
After a beef stroganoff lunch, champagne and wodka
We drove to the Hermitage: it is maybe the greatest art museum in the world, definitely comparable to the Vatican and the Louvre
Last stop ornate St-Isaacs Russian orthodox cathedral turned museum
Home after 5
No dining room tonight, Lido at 6:30 and early to bed
Tomorrow 8:15 am and going again all day

I am feeling much better and so is Terry
Thinking of you all
