It was pretty cold at this point in the day, so we tried to take this picture quickly. Sofia and Max were already headed back to the car.

Because of all the stops along the coast, we didn't actually make it out to Sintra on Saturday. It wouldn't have been enough time to see everything. So we decided to head back to Sofia's place and go back to Sintra tomorrow.

Sofia started getting sick on Friday, and by Saturday night was feeling miserable. So Max and I decided to go back to Sintra on our own the following day. Nuno drove us to the Metro station in Algés on Sunday morning. From there, we caught the train to Cais do Sodré to store our luggage at a station locker there.

From Cais do Sodré, we took the Metro to Areeiro station where we would catch this train to Sintra

The Royal Palace at Sintra was the summer residence of kings from the 15th to 19th century. Notice the distinctive twin conical chimneys

What a fantastic Presentation
