Cruising the Fiord We spent all night and all day at sea travelling to our first destination in Norway. We took the time to organise our cabin and took long showers for the first time since Adelaide. Tish headed to the Atlantis Spa for a hairdressing appointment at 10:00 am while Andrew headed to the laundry to wash a weeks worth of clothes and iron the trendy gear in his wardrobe for tonight’s formal dinner requiring a suit and tie. We pretty much entered the entrance to our first fiord just before our 6:15 pm dinner sitting so we made our way to the back of the ship to take in the views which included passing the Fred Olsen sister ship ”The Braemar’ cruising out of the fiord as we were entering.
There was some amazing scenery during our dinner sitting including waterfalls, sheer rock walls, isolated dwellings only accessible by watercraft and two highlights - Pulpit Rock which was a square block of rock perched high on the cliff top to which people climb to as well as a large circular boulder perched between two peaks. After dinner, we retired to the Neptune lounge to watch a song and dance routine on

Tish takes in the views of the fiord stage followed by the Lido Lounge for some crooning. All in all, a fantastic first experience at fiord cruising.

Happy Birthday
I know it's not the 8th there yet, but it is here, so wishing you an absolutely fantastic Birthday. It looks like the scenery along the Fjords is absolutely amazing. Jen xxxx
