Day 46, 10.05.19. Friday. The weather has been bad for a long time now, with exeptions it's been cold and a lot of rain. Took the coldest bath I have ever experienced some days ago, I think it was monday. The day started as it did the days before, cold but not much wind. The temperature increased a bit a few hours after I woke up. I usually wake up around 6 am, eat breakfast and then go to sleep again for a few hours, wake up again and start exploring and photographing. However when I woke up it was snowing, and I had to get to the smalltown to get some supplies for the next few days. Day 42, 06.05.19. Monday. Found a small tic-nymph on my abdomen on the left side last evening. It's been there for at least 12 hours as far as I know, checked it out several times today and there's no red ring around the bite yet. Still I feel a bit exhausted, could be several things, the tic included. Could be that I've frozen the last 4 nights and been eating a bit less, could also be vitamin deficiency. So I bought some eggs which will give me all the amino-acids I need, and some fish oil called tran. Gonna eat eggs and drink tran for a few days and see if my shape gets better. Day 31, 25.04.19. Thursday. Bought myself a laptop a couple days ago, need some entertainment and a tool to direct videos, photos and written text. So as well as paper to write on I'm gonna use my laptop in addition from now on, with writing only I have about 12 hrs of battery time which is enough to write for a few days before charging it again. But games or video-editing cuts it down to just a few hours, simple games give me about 7 hrs of playtime. Good for about 3 days of entertainment, however, videodirecting probably cuts it down to around a couple hours so I'm probably gonna do that in libraries or restaurants, there I have a source for recharging and can keep at it for hours at a time. Day 26, 20.04.19. Saturday. Have been panning for several days in two different creeks next to my location, no gold yet. And I thought it would reveal more and bigger flakes. Maybe further up or maybe I should dig deeper, tried deeper at one place that looked promising today, still nothing. Met one of the girls from the diner and her boyfriend at "hell hole" today, we were both surprised to see each other here as I hadn't told anyone where I was camped out at the moment, and they thought the place wasn't occupied. Her boyfriend seemed like a really great guy, good for her :) They had planned to camp outside during easter and since "Hell-hole" is a very beautiful and secluded place they decided to come here, even though I welcomed them to ... read more

Day 19, 13.04.19. Saturday. Got a message that my former home got broken into a week ago, got me thinking if it is someone I knew/know? Maybe they stalked me at a public sales-site where I tried to sell all my stuff before the trip? Or maybe they just saw that the lights were off for several days? They got away with my hunting bow and they took off with a 15 year old pc, with no harddrive and a broken keyboard xD I would gladly pay someone to take it away, it was that useless.
