Todya was our first day in Norway - woke up to the best view ever. The summer house is on the lake and we are staying upstairs so the first thing i did was opened the curtains to see the view ... all I could see was lots of cute little town houses - loads of water and boats. Dad would love it! Went down stairs where Johns mum had given us a nice morning coffee and lots for breakfast - i tried some Norwegian Apple Marmelaide and it was sooo yummy. His parents are so sweet - I get along with them both really well and can see where John gets his boyish cheekiness fomr (His father!) hahaha. We sat in the "Sun Room" and had coffee then showered. John took me down to the pier and saw his dad's boats and motorbike. His dad said I could have a sit on it as long as I washed and polished it for him - i responded by saying "Nei Takk" which is - No thanks! haha

Both of his parents are very fluent in English so no problems at all understanding them which is so easy - after breakfast we all went for a drive to 3 different islands which had amazing views. We then headed to Fredrikstad which is where his family live for half of the year - in winter. Dropped off the car at his parents apartment and walked along the water. It was exactly like Williamstown but better! WE went to "Pizzanini" and had pizza for lunch and walked across the bridge and the main town. Johns Mum and I did some shopping whilst the boys kept walking. Its great that we both have a passion for shopping. The town is so pretty with lots of cobbles streets and tree's. We then headed to the "Fortress Town" which was AMAZING - will put some photos on shortly. This town was full of old building and loads of art and shopping. If you see the town from above it is shaped like a crown as has a river running along side it and its shaped - its really stunning. By this stage we were all tired so headed home and had some yummy meatballs for dinner and apple cake.

I am very excited as in the morning we are all catching the ferry across to Sweden - Johns Mum and I have some seriuous tax free shopping planned out for Sweden haha. There is a buffet lunch onboard so it should be amazing with all the views so I will have an update shortly!

Miss you all so much but am having an unreal time - speak soon, love Us xoxo
