Keegan woke with a migraine, so we did not get out and about until 11am or so. We asked the hotel to call to see if they could get us into the jazz brunch, but it was fully booked (worth a try, though.) So we went out to see if we could find breakfast but didn't see anything good, so just bought Keegan a brekkies sandwich at a shop. Then walked to train station to think about taking ferry over to EYE, but it was already getting late, and it was a bit foggy, so there wasn't much of a view back to the city.

So we walked to Dylan Hotel for beer and bitterballen, as suggested by Keegan's friend from Amsterdam, but I declared it looked too pricey, so we found a little pub and had beer and bitterballen there. Keegan didn't like the bitterballen (surprising), but I dipped them in the spicy mustard and ate them all. They went well with the beer, too.

By now, it was time to return to hotel, gather Keegan's stuff, and walk him to the train station. The sun had come out, so it made the walk nice. I waited with him on the platform for the train; it was so hard to say good-bye!
