The flight and arrival in the Netherlands

We have been in the Netherlands for 3 days😊 We arrived on the 19th at about 12:50pm. I was dead tired. I wasnt really able to sleep on the plane but Matt slept pretty much the whole time.
Our first flight flew from Seatac to Reykjavík Iceland. It was 8 hours long and to top it off we didnt get a free in flight meal. We had to pay for it. I got a chicken ceaser salad that was tiny and it cost 5euro and Matt go a ham and cheese sandwich that had jelly on it. It seemed pretty weird but tasted really good oddly enough. His cost 4euro. When we arrived in Iceland we had an hour layover which was not very long. Our plane was actually beginning to board like 30 minutes after we landed. We had to go though security again in Iceland and then we wanted to go look for souvenirs and some food and to stretch our legs. Matt was taking forever and when we finally got back to our gate the sign said FINAL CALL! We were the last two people to get on our flight! We were so close to missing it.
Our next flight from Reykjavik to Schiphol (the airport that says its Amsterdam but you actually have to take a train to Amsterdam) was 3 hours. SO over all our flight wasnt as long as we thought it would be😊 We didnt lose any of our bags but Matt did put us on the wrong train. His brother lives in Lelystad and we should have got on a train that went all the way there from Schipol but we went to Amsterdam Central instead, which is on the way but we had to get off and switch trains. We made it just fine though I was just in a bad mood cause we were carrying all our stuff and I was exhausted. When we got to Grant and Katinka's we just chilled out for the rest of the day. The on Friday we had our first trip into Amsterdam and began exploring😊
