A really beautiful place; I was surprised by how few people there were on the beaches, in the towns and villages, etc., but I guess the tourist season was coming to a close. 9/21/06 So I have been meaning to write for a while and finally the time has come. And though I have a million things that I was going to write about, the following was not one of them Today I was reading Margot Schaal’s blog; for those of you who don’t know who this is, she is the mother of my friend Kaneza from Wesleyan, and she is right now living in Rwanda. Among other things, she is teaching yoga/feldenkreis classes for a UN group there (I think that is right). But in her short email to a group of friends she mentions very briefly a developing friendship between her and a guardian of a house near where she lives. So far we have had two concerts in Lithuania. They were both sponsored by the same church. One was in thier city and the other was at a school in a neighboring town. At the first concert one of the dancers hurt her foot right before the concert. We all prayed for her and she was able to dance for half of the concert but the next day found out she tore a tendon in her foot and can't dance for 3 weeks. So be praying for her. There were also even more obnoxious mockers but that is just a sign to us that there are definately unbelievers in the audience which is what we have been praying for.
