Parents visit LithuaniaAndrius, my mom, me, Viktorija. We are at the airport saying goodbye to mom and dad.
Pizza nightDad, Andrius, me, Viktorija. Out for pizza (the best pizza in Kaunas). When you buy a pizza in Lithuania it comes with very little sauce, and big pitchers of sauce (mayo-based) are placed on the table. The Lithuanian way to eat pizza is to soak it in the sauce.
Dinner at Sigitas' houseMom, Mac, me, and Domas. Having dinner at my coaches' house. We are eating Saltibarsciai, a traditional cold beet soup. It is usually eaten with a side of boiled potato.
Mac ClonanThis is Mac, catcher and senior captain on the Wesleyan Baseball team 2005. He came over to play for a few weeks for another Lithuanian team, specifically to reinforce them in a tournament in Bulgaria. We faced off head to head for three games when Logipolija played Lituanica. Mac is currently living and playing baseball in San Francisco. Do you have a job yet, Mac? Just kidding.
