Europe………
We loved the ferry trip from Dover to Calais in France, once again the sun shone and it was a smooth crossing. To meet us was our guide Francesca who’s a real sweetie. It was then off to Belguim where we spent our first night in Brussels. After a tour of the city with a local guide we dined out in one of the streets at a Greek restaurant and we were serenaded by a couple of local musicians. The next day it was Brekkie in Belgium, smoko in Luxembourg, lunch in France and Switzerland for Tea!!!!!! Not as crazy as it sounds just the way we had to head to get to Switzerland. There’s a great bunch on the bus. As usual, Alan is like the Court Jester, though they all call him “Exit” on the bus. We’ve taken most of the optional excursions, so I feel like I’m in some great race, how many sights etc can I see in one day? The pace is really hectic no sooner are we in the hotel after our daily sightseeing then we are heading out for dinner and show etc. Great fun. We’re enjoying all the local cuisine, beer and
wine and music. St Marsh has once again kept the sun shining, must be energy sapping though as he spends all his time on the bus sleeping! There’s been so many sights etc. will just pop a few photos on the blog. Laura now has about 12 CDs copied. When I close my eyes and I think of Laura, I can’t see her face, as there’s a camera across it!! We now are returning to Calais to spend a few days in London, Hong Kong for two days, then Monday 8th we’re back in Oz, Yahooo
