Far from Trieste

Got to the bus station nice and early this morning and said goodbye to Piran. Cuaght a bus to Trieste. Once I arrived I had to wait an hour for a bus to Grado and then change bus. Finally arrived at my hostel mid afternoon. When booking I searched for Trieste and this hostel came up. It is far from Trieste- never book a hostel without seeing its location on a map!! I learnt my lesson. It is a little town, with few tourists, it has a few roman ruins. My room has three beds, no bunks. I shared with a Canadian girl, worked out well, I gave her my Slovenian Tollar in exchange for a few Euros as she was off to Slovenia the next day. I didn't do anything for the rest of the day, as it would take me ages to get anywhere!
