The day passed on board eating, taking part in a trial evacuation of the ship, completing some paperwork with the chief mate regarding the accident, and catching up with emails and the blog. The chief mate kindly organised the temporary replacement of the broken windows with tape, plastic and card so we are able to continue with our travels without delay. We received an enormous amount of help and compassion from the campervan owners who saw the accident for which we are very grateful.

We docked at 17.00 and after some delay offloading and clearing customs we were on our way to drive north the 120k to the campsite San Marino, arriving in the dark about 20.45.
