Early evening we arrived back at St Mark's Square. The area was really bustling with people. We walked through the square to the Rialto Bridge. From the bridge we caught another vaporetto to the station. It was a short walk from here to a church where my Aunt Etta and Uncle Ric got married in 1947. Unfortunately it was closed at this time of the night. The church was called San Nicola.

After a photo of the church, we found a small, simple place nearby to eat some dinner and have wine. Once again, we caught a vaporetto back to Lido. On our walk down the main street we stopped for our regular ice-cream fix.
