Farewell to Venice

A very early start this morning: 6:40 am !! We packed last night after our farewell dinner and put our suitcase out in the hall (by 10:00pm) to be picked up and transported to the airport. We got our "bag breakfast" & carry-on luggage and boarded the water taxi waiting for us right at our hotel stop on the Grand Canal. As our boat sped across the lagoon, we were able to see a Venitian sunrise> a beautiful way to go.
