Our bus
This was our second trip to Venice and we wanted to take it slowly and enjoy walking through the streets. We did it really on a shoestring this time and stayed in a place called Camping Jolly outside town-it wasn't too bad despite Mary-Anne's fears!

We took a waterbus through the town and went to the Lido (Venice's beach). We went to the Academia museum to add to the cultural experience. We were also fortunate to get an impromptu tour through a local artists gallery, showcasing a tour through the Medeterranean, with a tour guide who is a friend of the artist - he was exceptionally friendly.

Wandering through the streets of Venice is truly magical and even the mundane things seem really interesting, like fire engines and ambulances which are speed boats!
