Gondola ride

Well to be honest venice wasnt actually all that cool. Way too touristy for one, two, way to expensive, three (and most surprisingly) the food wasnt good. DISTASTER!
50 years ago it would have been amazing, but everything is just so artificial now. If you walk into deserted areas you do find the real deal, but all the locals look at you with contempt, which is fair enough I guess, I'd be pretty sick of tourists too by now. But it is definitely not how you imagine italy, friendly little trattorias packed with people sitting outside.
