• Taking in the sites around town with no rain in the morning
  
• Lunch at a local trattoria
  

Odd Spot(s)

• Dinner at cousin Rosana's consisted of several communal conversations occurring across the room simultaneously. We were seated in the middle of the room and people from all of the other tables proceeded to engage in conversations across and around us - catching up on local gossip, discussing our trip, debating the best route for us to head to Rome the next day. It was truly a communal experience.

Paris End of Pitigliano
Sought after real estate - these little places have a view across the valley and are in a really beautiful little laneway.

Canteenas
Canteenas are storage spaces built in to the side of the hill. Each family has one - typically rented. Used to store wine, vegetables and meats - they are kinda like a giant fridge/pantry.

Pitigliano Deli
The deli at Pitigliano prepare all of their own dried meats and are specialist in Cinghiale.

Giant Pizzas
Although we asked for small pizzas ..... perhaps they only do one size. They were terrific pizzas, nice and thin with a real crunch. Dinner at Rosana's Bar with cousing Sauro.

Freaky Clown
At the local art exhibition this freaky clown was so life-like we had to touch it to make sure it wasn't one of those human statues you see in malls.

Outdoor Christmas Trees
Christmas trees line the streets as most houses and shops are so small. Families tend to have nativity sets indoors and the tree outside.
