Hi Everyone,
Florence was great! We were first driven by Arton, our guide, to Pisa where we saw the Tower of Pisa. Although we did not know what to expect, the Tower was impressive. Pictures don’t do it justice, although I have placed a few of it on this web page as a feeble attempt.

Next we headed to Florence for a walking tour. Our guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the art and history of Florence. It rained a great deal of the day on us, but most of the day was warm and pleasant We saw Michelangelo’s David in the museum and we saw so much art that we were almost overloaded. Nalynn bought a pretty red purse. We were tired, but it was a great day.
