Today we arose to a gorgeous day and embarked on about a two hour journey to Bolzano. Bolzano is known primarily for the "iceman" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%96tzi_the_Iceman) which is on display there in the museum. Upon arriving we were met up by the most coloful, fun and informative guide Luciano. As the bus rounded the bend on the off ramp, he was there on his bicycle waving an American flag and we followed him to the parking area. We started off the tour on foot and made it to one of the most gorgeous museums you may set your eyes on Duomo. Across the church was the large Walther Square where people were having snacks and meeting up. The Walther momnument is a very popular and notable meeting place. After hitting those two popular places we began strolling the streets and Luciano would tell stories and point out anything of importance along the way. We passed a rock with a map on it of the "old" city layout and at the same time we passed through a weighing station where they used to weigh corn and other products with a sign still painted on a wall for it. the tour concluded at the

ice man museum, at which point we were free to roam the city. But he was kind enough to take a few of us down the road and through a park to see the Mareccio castle.

After viewing the castle we were off to conquer the city until 2pm when we had to meet back to tour the museum. During or pre museum adventure we saw the castle, a large monument, the park, some neat churches and statues and the best of all had one of the yummiest lunches in a long time. One of which came from a small Italian Sausage cart placed next to the market. After lunch and strolling down the streets a bit we hit the museum. The museum was filled with alot of information on the ice man, a whole floor dedicated to him, his belongings and various theories. There also was a very intriguing mummy exhibit going on at the time that consumed some of our time. After we made it through the entire museum we started walking the streets again, where we encountered an interesting optometrist sign, an antique store, a pinochio shop and many other unique stores. We finally did some
