Day 24 : Sunday 29 September 2019 : Hike from Bellano Hiking time. We wanted to hike to Bellano, the guy from the bottom floor said you can walk it. We couldn’t find the start of the track, so decided to train it to Bellano (€5) and see the Orridio and visit the supermarket and if we’re lucky find the trail back. Trains just so easy. In fact, took the opportunity to book the train from San Candido to Lake Bled, because I hadn’t been able to do it online. Still can’t.
There’s so many people coming in to see the air show again. We got to Bellano, but being a Sunday, nothing is open until the afternoon. Wow, we got to see the air show again. Just the last 20 minutes, the finale with the spectacular colour ending. Less crowds here too. What luck! We followed the crowds along the foreshore back into town. Stopped to find out where the Orridio was. As there’s not much open, we stopped at a kebab place and had awesome wraps and kebabs for lunch (€20).
Part of the Orridio (€10) was closed, so was a quick look but that’s where

Lucky enough to get the airshow for a second time in Bellano, almost better. the trail starts back to Varenna, score! Great hike, lovely area. Nice views. The last part into town was the hardest to work out. Met an old guy from Pinjarra, knew the Hanks. Comes over every few years to stay with a friend. Very fit he was running up and down the hills!
Onwards we go. Came in from the top end of the track.
After a rest and a drink, we walked into town to find some pasta for a night in (€20).
Farewell beautiful Lake Como.
