Milano is a very big city and we had a friend of ours, that lived in Nanjing, was back home for the holidays so we met up with her in Milano.
We met up in town at the famous book store La Feltrinelli.
From there you can see the famous green apartment block Bosco Verticale - green vertical towers is 27-stories high and is the home to the world's first vertical forest.
We had lunch at her house and then she took us to a really cool Art Gallery.
Biococca Hanger. It was an industrial Work Site that has been transformed into an amazing space. Unfortunately it was closed but the side door was opened so we snuck in. I am so glad we did. There had been a private function the night before in this area.
The art work was huge.
Anselm Kiefer's Seven Heavenly Places - Towers of Babel type of construction.
The gardens are fantastic with lots of interesting art work and a bar-cafe area to eat, drink and reflect life.
