Despite my objections to blogs for their narcissistic nature, I have decided to write one during my year as a foreign exchange student in Italy. I think in total I got & pictures with different security men and others in uniform. I don't know what inspired it really. These two were particularly good humored about it, note the fake arresting.

Not everyone said yes when I asked for a photo, some saying they couldn't, but most were oblivious to this rule. I'm sorry to say my camera died after this, so all the others are on a friends camera, I might find them to put them here, but I'm not sure. She also had pictures of many more people in even more incredible costumes, as there were TONS.

enjoyed your photos... they do tell a story! Joselyn and I will be in Venice for a week 16 - 22 maggio, at Venice Italian School.... we'll help pick up the left-over confetti all over the sidewalks. They do have sidewalks in Venice, right?
