First European road trip – destination Italian coast line!

We decided a long weekend was a great excuse to see a bit more of Europe. Murray was offered a house on the Italian coast by a colleague. Didn’t have to ask me twice! Half a tank of diesel in our people mover, 150Euros in road/tunnel tolls, travelling through Mount Blanc tunnel an 11km tunnel one of the longest in the world I’m told, many many tunnels later, and we arrived at Sportorno a bay ... Our overseas move started in 2005, with a brief vacation in India. Then we joined the Tsunami relief team in Sri Lanka for a couple of years. We were then based in Nairobi, Kenya for 9yrs. Then based in Geneva, Switzerland for the past 4 years with Murray in a global role still travelling around to the hot spots.
