Today is quiet day with only picking up our new Peugeot 3008 and driving to Terracina, about 120km from the Leonardo Di Vinci Airport. I am sure all of you reading this will have already experienced driving in Italy, but it is just the same as driving in India. 1 lane road is easy for 2 cars wide and the sign post says 90km speed limit but some drivers do 130km. All safe and sane we arrive in Terracina, a small town in the coast. After an ice cream on the beach, we drive up into the hills to our BnB for the night. The drive was eventful up the narrow road we had to dive into a driveway when a tractor flew down the road to avoid a head on. Once we arrived (even the GPS didn't know where the place was) our host booked us at the local restaurant by yelling to the chef over the balcony. What a wonderful slice of heaven.
