Hi all, after some great service on Emirates flights we have now landed in Rome and find ourselves in the middle of a public holiday with all shops shut. Before we get there, I need to comment about the customs entering Italy. Our customs agent was talking to someone else on her mobile (headset on), she didn't even look up to check our passports were actually ours. Chrissy, I am sure she wouldn't last in the Australian Border Protection.
Rose has always felt that the Taxi in Mumbai was the worst taxi she had been in until today. The driver sat on 140-150km 20ft off the back of the car in-front, and we still got passed by other cars. Rose has dictated that I will stay right and restrict myself to the posted speed... Lets see how that works for her.
Back to the public holiday, there are people everywhere and we will need to wait until tomorrow to get phone numbers etc.
