As we had been free camping for a few days we needed to get to a camp ground for clothes washing and to empty the camper and re-stock with water and food. We had little planned so we hit the Autostrade to make up some more time. We had been playing a game in the van to see who could guess the cost of the toll on the stretch of Autostrade we used, it is so inconsistent that sometimes you could do 100km and it cost 2.40E and then you could do 50km and it might cost 11.00E bloody impossible to figure, but that is the Italian way. Not much to report today as we arrived at the camp ground early to do the chores. After that it was a walk along the beach, the daily espresso and then back for dinner and a noisy night. The camp ground was noisy and the facilities a bit shabby but not too expensive. There are plenty of camp grounds and heaps of free camping spots, just take a drive around and you will find spots all over the place.
