Wow the town comes to life after 5 pm. Shops that were closed all afternoon open their doors, restaurants open at 8 pm - so different to Oz. look at the bearticulate effects of lighting an old city in the evening.
OMG dinner at a nearby restaurant - no English spoken, difficult menu so intrepid warriors Saturday: what do you recommend? Out comes fried chick pea appetiser, followed by plate after plate of antipasta accompanied by a litre of local red wine (delicious of course), then large pizza to share and cannelloni like ricotta filled delightful desert - expecting a huge bill shock. Ok 29 euro! My god why would anyone not live in Italy?

Our apartment us modern and very cosy: welcoming after a night out (and they have a bath AND lots of hot water

Wow, just love the stone, stone, stone. Stone steps, stone carvings, stone paving, stone arches........... Madonna looks somewhat voluptuous and tribal. Ha! Enjoy. xx Truck is paid for minus $500.
