As I said at the end of the last entry, the taxi was prompt and it wasn't 15 minutes to the airport. This started for us to blog about India in 2008 and has been used several times since. Sue went to China in 2011 and helped the girls move around the Southeast in 2012. We'll keep using it to capture pictures and travels! on a detour to miss the Parish Walk

Get used to it!

So, we set off down the (1/2 mile long) lane, heading towards Peel...

It is a paved lane

or was at one time; some parts are iffy. None wide enough for 2 vehicles.

So, this is where we jumped off the road onto a path.

Undaunted

we kept on the path

our first view of Peel

as I said, we entered through the power plant and an industrial park

This is taken from up on the castle but you can see the marina, center right, the foot bridge across it, the walled off area on this side of the water which formed the beach and the wall on the other side which (I guess) formed the other beach
