Walking the cobble stones
Hello - here we are in Ireland - love the Irish lilt in their voices - lovely.

Today we found the hop on hop off bus and headed off to the tourist spots with a great tour guide - he sang as he went along - especially the song about Molly Malone!! First stop was Trinity College founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592 - this was spectacular and walking around on the original cobble stones. Love the humour of the tourist bus drivers - kept us all laughing.

We continued to look at the highlights of Dublin and got off at the Guiness Storehouse - how fantastic was that - even for a non beer drinker but was worth going to and seeing how it's all made - very well organised and automated for the tour through - the tourist main part was like one big drining glass - with escalators going to each floor where another section was discussed on screens - even screens in barrels and views of the city of Dublin until we reached the top and it was a like a head of beer - all round and fantastic views all around - another

Immaculate grounds and yes as green as it shows here
Guiness or two for those who ventured that high up. Arthur Guiness started this empire of Guiness in 1749 and it now produces over 10M glasses per day over the world.

Next we went to Ryans Victorian Bar - which dates back to 1896 - one of Dublin's original Victorian pubs. We were lucky enough to score the private room at the back to have a wonderful Irish lunch and in looking at the room in seclusion and privacy we assume that many a wench would have been tumbled here......

Back on the bus and then to Jameson's Distillery for a quick look around before going for a cuppa at The Church which is a restaurant and coffee place - very nice bar there too - think a photo or two will be added on here, where we decided that we could've gone to many other places but ran out of time today - so many nice ones, oh and did I mention the wee stop off for a bit of retail therapy? Sorry thought we'd have a look at some shops while in Dublin....

Off to dinner shortly to another Irish Pub - had hoped to
