Dear All Greetings on this my third and final blog entry of my trip to Ireland, country number 100. My application has been accepted, and I am now officially a fully-fledged member of the TCC, with badge and certificate to show for it – yay!! Thank you Ireland for being such a lovely country, but also for being such a nice country to make it to this number. It is interesting to see that having travelled pretty much the world, it is our closest neighbour which ultimately helped me reach this goal. This has made Ireland really quite special to me. Well hello again! Yes, we have been bad bloggers for quite a while now and to answer the question "where have you been?" the answer is simple. We have been home since May 31st--sort of. It seems that we have terminal jetlag and really do not exist in any known time zone. However, we do seem to be functioning a little bit better the past few days, so hold onto your ales, we are travelling across Ireland today! After yet another lovely breakfast in the sunroom at Lawcus Farm, we pack up and, amidst a trail of hugs, kisses, and promises to return soon, we are on the move. Friday began with a full pack march to the bus to Drogheda. A pleasant walk without a pack, we were all glad it was our last long trek with the bags! Ruth Heaney had a wonderful day arranged for us. We dropped luggage at Anne Cassidy's and picked up her daughter Sophie and headed off for lunch in the town centre. Then a guided tour of this old medieval town. Shopping closed the afternoon followed by a dinner prepared at the Scout Centre by Drogheda Guides and Guiders.
