So after a bit of organising and getting all our info together ( Companies to use / use bus tours or rent a camper etc ) we have moved our leaving date closer from Feb 2010 to October 2009. We are aiming to look at the second or third week of october to head off.
After some research it turns out that renting a camper van and driving through Eastern Oz works out a few thousand euro cheaper than using oz experience so looks like we will be using a camper instead.

Iv also found that you can save about 200-300 euro leaving from london for australia rather than dublin so it looks like london will be our first stop before going for a day or 2 maybe.
Only 15 weeks left before jetting off 😊
