This past weekend I traveled to Killarney and toured the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. The town of Killarney itself is a lovely town. This stone hut is hundreds of years old and they are all over the landscape. Some are over 2000 years old.

People lived on this island till the 1950's when the Irish government evacuated the island for safety reasons. The people were forced to assimilate into a new way of life and their own way of life was forever lost.
