I told Dylan that I would not be doing the Liam O'Connor show tonight. Of course he said it was up to me, but I was going to miss a great show. (I doubt that…who would want to listen an accordion being played for 3 hours).We left the hotel about 8:15 a.m. for a scenic drive called the Ring of Kerry. As far as the drive along the Ring of Kerry, it had some nice scenic areas. We went through mountainous areas and coastal areas. So i arrived to Cork on July 9th, a few weeks ago. The weather was no surprise...raining. I spent a few weeks just going for walks alone as Dave was working. He is offically "Retired" since July 27th as we say! Ronan is Daves friend that we are staying with here in Cork for a few weeks. They are still in training for the triathelon, so I had even more time to myself as I have no intentions of putting on a wetsuit and swimming in the sea, or cycline gor 40 miles!! The "King of the Hill" Traithelon was in Kinsale, and Ronan and Dave both finished the race. Ronan finished in 1hr 36 min and Dave wasnt too far behind finishing in 1hr 41 min. I have decided that too much vacation can be a bad thing. I have grown weary of traveling all over to see things. The only things that we had still wanted to see are the pricier items and I can’t justify it yet. The Aran Islands require a ferry passage to reach them and the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park offers the medieval dinner and musical entertainment but that alone runs about €60 for each of us. So we are keeping closer to home and trying to not spend much. Today we went off in search of two more geocaches in the area. It is the one thing I appreciate about the hobby above all else.
