Flight was delayed heading over. So we were stuck in bristol airport waiting for the incoming flight when a guy from boston started talking to us. What a weird freakin accent!

Anyway got in about midnight and got a taxi straight to steffs. Bit o food, bit o smoke, bit o wine. grand job.

Pottered into the city on saturday - down to keatings at the bottom of henry street near the Jervis centre. Night place, food pretty decent - upper class pub food. Fairly expensive, but then everything looks more expensive in euros. When will those animals accept the queens head?

Afternoon, we just chilled around dublin. Popped into a few shops - pennys and dunnes mostly. The city is so manic even just on what should be a fairly quiet saturday. People must look like ants at christmas time.

Oh yeah, taxi driver said that Howl at the Moon in ballsbridge , i think, is a pretty good venue - 3 floors and good variety of music. Steff's friend helen(??) said it was kewl as well.

Ok then saturday night - hairly lemon. Absolutely manic so headed on to byrne's a zzzzz. Nice in there - older crowd but nice to find a place where you can sit down and have a pint. Oh yeah- owe taylor now some load of booze - he got three rounds. So feeling like a real skin flint bastard.

Sunday we went out to Dun Laoghire (forgot how to spell it) - not bad out there. You forgot Dublin has a coast line - at least i do - it doesn't depend on it at all. Nice palce to go shopping in - nice little satelite. where did we go then......oh yeah - dawkey. Nothing much there aside from bono's house and van morrisons place. Bit of food then on to taylornows.

Late flight and back home - sweet!
