Average camping cost/night touring Iceland for ~2 weeks: $10 on VISA debit. Cup of good Gevalia coffee: ~$2 on VISA debit. Can't say this trip report makes me want to rush out to visit Iceland... although Seattle didn't get that much warmer than 55F this summer either. Seems now you've been everywhere except Antarctica. When's that trip gonna be?

Hi Cindy, I didn't paint a pretty picture which is too bad because it is beautiful. Just had bad luck and a cold start to the summer. Bad weather really limits what you can do in Iceland much more than any other place I can remember. And being expensive didn\'t make matters any better. More inspiring blogs to come from Russia and Turkey...
