I ain't doing cocaine and I am not living high in the clouds by Marijane. Nonetheless, I am an addict and no matter how many times you are telling me it's all in my head, I still feel powerless. Like a bird, all I dream of is to take off on a sunny day and push my wings until the place looks right and be ready to do it all again when it is time. But if really there is a path to fallow, you can try to catch me and cut my wings. Be aware I won't surrender easily and getting carry back into your gaol ain't an option. I know a game isn't one if your opponents have no chance to succeed. So, I am in Iceland at the moment and it's beautiful. Good luck, I am moving fast.
Before you leave you should know Iceland is beautiful. It will tease even the most sedentary. It is probably as wild as you can get and a multitude of natural wonders from volcanoes to waterfalls, via glaciers, fjords and hot springs, are awaiting to be discovered. In fact, there is probably more stop to make around the island that
the 300 thousand something people living on it. That you will all see fast enough if you are strong enough to leave crazy Reykjavik nightlife. In all honesty, it is quite something to host world class clubbing in such a tiny city. Iceland has it all. It will always surprise you.
When I say it has it all, it really does. It would need a lifetime and quite a lot of money to be fair, to see half what there is to see. And, what is making Iceland even better is the fact it is always in constant evolution. There will always be a new volcano site to visit and every eruption will bring its share of changes. I also love the fact that even with all the tourists getting in and out the country, you will still find those hidden places, those spectacular views that people skip because they are just off the main road and those pieces of fairytale that we wish to be true even at our age. Iceland can bring you back to the childish idea of yourself you have long buried. You can find yourself hunting the Puffins for a picture or scream of
enthusiast at the view of a whale. You will wait for the geysir to go up and play in one of the great thermal pools. You will love the pools, from the great Blue Lagoon, to the simplest kid pool in the Reykjavik city center. I really love the one on the beach and the oldest pool near the glacier water. It has something mystic.
Visit Iceland because it is simply one of the most beautiful place on earth.
'till then, good luck finding me
Nick
