We visited St. Stephens the first evening we were in Prague. Sitting high on the hill overlooking the Danube the church is named for Stephen, the first King of Hungary. Stephen ruled from 975-1038. I was surprised that everyone is allowed to take pictures in the church and I did take advantage of this privilege. As we entered we were told that the church would closed to visitors in about twenty minutes as there was a funeral service scheduled.

Sorry the pictures are so dark but the interior of the church is very dark.
