Pride in Athens and the city sites

What a beautiful day to be in Athens - the weather is perfect, the good is good, and we are smack in the middle of it all in the City Centre. We purchased tickets for the hop-on-hop-off tours and took a drive throughout the entire city seeing the sites. We stopped at the Acropolis and Parthenon and walked the hill up to appreciate the home of the gods as well as the view of the entire city. It is a beautiful site you truly have to see to appreciate.

We were also very fortunate in that we were here for Pride Week and through sheer serendipity weran into a large festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
